To tackle the question of how to design culturally responsive curriculum we need to look at why it matters. The connection between ecological diversity and linguistic/cultural diversity is rarely discussed yet is fundamental to developing understanding and empathy for people from different nations and origins. This topic can be a way to validate the diverse cultural backgrounds of your students, and particularly to help integrate and support your immigrant population.  Below is the link to the Wikipedia definition.
