The art of video mixing and remix/loop culture. The idea is to mix visual images into new abstracted forms and meanings, creating a visual narrative. The course introduces concepts in culture jamming, while teaching practical application in technical audio/visual skills. The class also encourages the use of media to promote cultural change in how humans interact with technology and nature. Projects will focus on the local use of plastic recycling and make a custom screen out of plastic bags for their final performance.
