The STEMArts model is above all a research lab that experiments and studies innovative STEM + Art solutions with the goal of developing guidelines and best practices for improving K-12 STEM and Art education. We use a crowdsourcing approach to inspire STEMArt collaborations exploring new solutions for integrating Art and STEM. We call for creative professionals and students to submit collaboration ideas and facilitate exchange between them. We assure that all submitted collaborations are aligned to the national STEM standards to facilitate implementation in schools. We collect and organize collaborations under STEMArts categories, providing a searchable database for schools and community organizations. The platform plans to implement crowdfunding to facilitate funding of proposed collaborations.
