The ISEA2012 symposium will consist of a conference September 19 – 24, 2012 based in Albuquerque with outreach days along the state’s “Cultural Corridor” in Santa Fe and Taos, and an expansive, regional collaboration throughout the fall of 2012, including art exhibitions, public events, performances and educational activities. The main exhibit will tale place at the Albuquerque Museum and 516 Arts. Participating venues also include Explora, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, The Harwood Art Center, and many area schools and youth organizations.  A season-long collaboration will engage the local community through in-depth partnerships throughout New Mexico (September – December, 2012).

Space Messengers is made possible in part by the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund for U.S. Alumni; an opportunity sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by Partners of the Americas. This project is supported in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and by the National Endowment for the Arts
