ACSP Event [AR]

Dive into our Augmented Reality Space-for-Earth Mission. Discover six artist-created models of imaginary futures inspired by space technologies. Create and submit your own imaginative space-inspired composition to become part of the collective art experience. Created in collaboration with Aestar, our Albuquerque Sister Cities partner in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Roy Macdonald, designer of the Space Visualizer, Monica Storss, Learning Experience Designer, and Space Messengers artists: CHiKA, Ian Harrison and Julia Doke with STEMarts students.

Here’s how to begin your journey:

  1. Visit location on the map and find the green cube icon with QR code (Online participants: skip to #2)
  2. Scan the QR code to activate the AR Experience
  3. Scale and position the object in your surroundings
  4. Capture a photo of your unique composition
  5. Submit your image to become part of our Space Visualizer
  6. Enjoy the interactive experience!

About the project

Space Messengers is an Immersive Mixed Reality installation exploring the universe through art, science and technology. This participatory experience visualizes thought-provoking reflections on the universe, encouraging participants to contemplate their role within it. Space Messengers is an interdisciplinary and international collaboration among artists, scientists, interdisciplinary experts and youth ambassadors.
